As with the Dupuis Union smurfs, Industria Argentina also once briefly held the licence to make smurfs. These "mini models" are the same size as ordinary smurfs are very collectable. Mini models often don't have markings. A good way of telling if they're genuine is to look at the tail as only the tip will be painted.
